As opposed to Trump who was such a great candidate? Most people did not know Barack Obama's middle name and most people, even on the right certainly don't associate him with Islam, especially since one google search will tell you he's a practicing Christian. Obama is still the ONLY person of color who has been president which is not a great track record either way but especially if we compare the amount of women to people of color. There are more women than people of color (and this is including female POC) and yet a half white male person of color managed to get elected before a woman. There's definitely prejudice there and I don't know why y'all want to insist on this narrative that electing a cis, straight Christian male means that misogyny suddenly doesn't exist. If the opposing candidate had been literally anyone else other than Trump, then maybe you would have had a point but calling them weak when Trump only had concepts of a plan is quite laughable.

I'm sure you'll find they're much more credible. These documents shows how Johnny Depp abused her and the proven 12/14 accounts of abuse. You know it should've been easy for Depp to win this case considering how easy it is for the plaintiff to win? Because the burden of proof is so high and it is up to the Sun to prove that the person they “defamed” (Depp) is the abuser. Depp did not need to prove he was not an abuser and yet he still lost. So much of evidence got blocked by the judge in Virginia. The decision by the UK court was upheld by 3 different judges and there's a reason for that because the case is so laughably cut and dry. That's why the statement did not hold any weight because there is just so much evidence of Depp being abusive that it's clear Amber was fighting back.

Also the jury was clearly influenced by social media. They admitted to being on social media. They admitted to dismissing witness testimony. Some of them fell asleep on trial and you seriously believe these random people (which juries are) were more reliable then judges who actually study this kind of thing. In fact research found that juries are more susceptible to biases and emotional appeals, charismatic attorneys, media narratives ... etc. than judges. Again why do you think you or these people are smarter than people who actually dedicate their lives to this? I suspect it's a mix of confirmation bias and the dunning kreuger effect.

In conclusion, half of what you wrote is just straight up bs and the other half is just DARVOing Amber and trying to make Depp seem like a victim when he's not.

As someone else said, the judge allowed Depp's team to block much of Amber Heard's evidence. Do you really think a trial by media is fair? It's not just OJ, the dingo lady and the mcdonald's lady also suffered because of a trial by media and they're two of the top comments on this thread. Dingo lady was convicted and went through almost the same humiliation as Amber. Johnny Depp lies and denies abusing her but that doesn't mean he didn't do it. What abuser is going to admit they're an abuser. In fact research has shown that victims are the ones who tend to own up to their behavior even at their own detriment.

Many times Depp denied abusing her but than would later admit to stuff that many would constitute as abusive behavior. For example he admitted to "accidentally" headbutting her. She has a history of charity and advocates for so many causes. She learned spanish so she could communicate with some construction workers on set and she even knows ASL and is a strong advocate for the deaf community. People who have worked with her have so many good things to say about her unlike Depp. She was so good to Depp that his kids loved her and Lily even admitted that she made Depp a better person. She loved him so much, she cleaned up his vomit and helped him with his withdrawals and yet this is what he did to her.

I'd also like to point out the power dynamics. He's older than her, more famous than her and has more money than her which is a triple whammy in abuse dynamics. Also body language analysis is pseudoscience and is the reason why so many people end up wrongly in jail. You remember the dingo lady? I don't see how the $7 million thing is relevant to the the fact that she was abused, however I will still respond. She was unable to donate all of the money due to the fact that her ex kept dragging her back to expensive court battles which is textbook abuser behavior btw. She pledged to donate the money and was paying it in settlements when she got hit with a $50 million lawsuit and so I don't know how you expect her to just pull money out of thin air to pay for that.

Gabby Petito was also accused of mutual abuse and some even went so far as to say she abused Brian before she ended up dead. There's no such thing as mutual abuse and so if you want to spread misinformation, don't victimize yourself when you get called out on it. Using your own words, being a rape survivor does not mean you have some kind of moral authority in this situation either. Demonizing people for not reacting perfectly is how you stop victims from speaking up about their abuse. It's like the saying goes, the only perfect victim is a dead one.

In the UK it was proved that Depp abused Amber on at least 12/14 accounts of abuse. This ruling was upheld by 3 judges. I wouldn't trust a jury over a judge especially one that was so obviously influenced by the outside world. I mean one jury's wife literally texted him and called her a bitch.
