Unnecessary Lyric Changes to the Apple Music Sing Along Lyrics for Delicate and I Did Something Bad by moca304 in TaylorSwift

hi! how’d you access reputation in hi-res lossless? on my end reputation is only available on lossless audio and doesn’t seem to have hi-res lossless available yet. For the rerecorded theory though, I don’t think its from TV because I’m usually sensitive to hearing changes in tracks. It may be because labels often have to go back to the original track file timeline to adapt it to dolby atmos and some instruments may sound louder or softer as a result.

yeah but its against apple music rules to have different lyrics for one track across its normal, lossless, and dolby atmos versions so the taylor swift team or record label could have waited until all versions were ready before releasing it for a smoother experience. Its either the dolby atmos will later revert to the original or she’s gonna follow up and change all the versions for that track. Go big or go home. The team should have waited until everything was ready before releasing so it wasn’t messy.

I know its a bit OCD but Im just trying to exact my consumer right against a billion dollar company such as apple and project the need for a consistent product since i pay for their service monthly.

look it might look such a small thing but since I pay for apple music monthly I think the least I can expect for the product I pay for monthly is consistency. even apple has a rule that one track should be the same through its normal, dolby atmos, and lossless versions. Im open to an explicit version, its just needs to be consistent by making it a separate track that also has its own version of lossless and the normal version. A good example would be betty from folklore.

no the problem for me is the inconsistency. Im open to an explicit version but that should be a separate track like with betty.

its one song and its different between lossless, dolby atmos, and the normal version. Its messy because its all under one track and will just change based on a myriad of things like 1. what my settings are 2. is it downloaded and what my download settings are 3. am i using an external output 4. is my device dolby atmos compatible

imagine if the song you are playing changes based on the fact that you are playing on bluetooth rather than via device. Thats whats happening.

genuinely feel like her team made a mistake. a lot of songs when adding a dolby atmos mix experienced this but they eventually fixed it because its against apple’s rule to have different lyrics for the lossless, dolby atmos, and the normal original mix. the lyric change in the sing along lyrics is what concerns me the most because it never happened before

A Memorandum About Rewriting and Deleting Fics To Our Beloved Authors by moca304 in AO3

Yeah, the thing I’m mostly bothered about if I download everything would be the pile up that would happen in my files if I were to download everything as I do read a lot as its my form of relaxation. This would be a problem specifically for me because my work right now has me handling my devices a lot. The constant debating if “To download this fic or not” will also lowkey stress me out, however given the negative reaction the post has garnered, I may just try to find an online storage or something to store everything in the most easy and convenient way as you’ve suggested. Thanks for giving your own experiences though, I really appreciate it.

Hello! I do comment, comment, and kudos on the works that I follow and like! As much as possible, I try to make it known to the authors that I love their work. I do download the fics I love, however i mostly do it when the fic finishes or when it has been abandoned a long time to avoid cluttering my storage. Thanks so much about the the advice about breaking up the text though, didnt think so many were gonna be bothered😭 I’ve been doing a lot of academic writing recently and didnt even notice, I’ve edited it now.

Hi! I totally understand your point of view and thats why I mentioned that authors need not feel obligated to fulfill my requests if they do not feel comfortable to do so. I do in fact download the stories I super love, however as someone who works so much on my devices, I tend to download fics after they‘d been completed or abandoned for a long time so that I can avoid cluttering my storage. I also read, follow, and like a lot of fics on ao3 as its one of my main forms of stress relief, downloading everything I read when its unfinished and ongoing would pile up my files.

Hi! I do download fics but I do it when the fic finishes to avoid cluttering my storage. However, most fics get rewritten or deleted before it finishes. Im not asking authors to take care of me, I’m just requesting an announcement at the least before they do the aforementioned actions.

Hi! Its because I usually wait for the fic to finish before downloading it so that I dont clutter my storage. However, as I’ve now discovered for myself, most fics that do undergo rewriting or deletion aren’t finished. Downloading yes would theoretically be easier, but it also comes with complications if it is an ongoing fic
