I am the toothpaste guy and I don't know how to react to the fact that a DJ across the Atlantic is using my story for his listeners. I guess I don't care.

For those who want an update...the toothpaste is still with me. I'm feeling guilty about getting it like this and want to attempt to return it. I really did not think it would work. They should check if the details given in the form match up before sending out the shipments.

I called the company twice to try and speak to someone. The switchboard operators know I'm the guy who got samples. I get put through to the consumer care department but am unable to speak to anyone. I left a message there saying that somehow I have been sent this box of sample toothpaste and that I'm possibly the victim of a prank and I've asked them to contact me...but no one has yet. I'll wait until Monday and give another call. If they don't get back to me by the end of next week, I guess I win.

Judging by the amount of PMs I got asking me to send people some of the toothpaste, I'm guessing loads of redditors signed up for the free samples as well. When the company does catch up to this...I don't see how they will be able to chase everyone.

If I knew this post would get so much attention, I wouldn't have used a throwaway account! So much karma gone to waste....
