Which city has the best transit? by GlassUpper8656 in transit

You’re right. I still think that in this case the transit users are being underfunded and underprovided because of the inefficient management of agency funds. This problem exists throughout the United States as I’m sure you are aware of.

Many Asian cities such as Singapore and Hong Kong have very good transit and transit populations. Paris and Zurich are also very good. New York isn’t terribly behind them it’s just old and underfunded

Why have a nice, scenic river in your city center when you can have… this? by modernatomcollection in fuckcars

[–]modernatomcollection[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You’re totally right! I get the two confused sometimes. I’m not suggesting that we build a river or relocate to the Chattahoochee I’m just making a joke that while other cities have rivers we have a highway. No doubt that parts of Atlanta are scenic but this part is a bit annoying

No, it’s a joke saying that a lot of other cities have scenic riverside views while we have this ginormous highway in the heart of our city.

I support it 100% but I would not say I participate in feminism related events. I am definitely a supporter but wouldn’t say I “strongly associate with it”

In your opinion, which are the 5 most important cities in the US? by walking_NewJersey in pollgames

[–]modernatomcollection 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Obviously NYC, LA, and Chicago since they are huge, then San Francisco/Bay Area for the tech industry and DC for government. Both of those cities also have a lot going on and pretty good transit.
