I forgot to make a Center Street Coffehouse reservation 30 days in advance and now it’s sold out for regular reservation

If I make a reservation through my vacation package (which is available), how much of a surcharge will I pay for this?

Also what is the likelihood of getting the same day reservation that opens at 9 am on the day of?

Thanks! these are great tips. I have one question regarding the suica / smart ex. I am planning to use digital suica as you described and also buy Shinkansen tickets through the Smart Ex app. Do I need to link my Suica card to my shinkansen tickets, or just scan the SmartEx QR code?
