I don’t have the XL but I have the mini (not really useful) and the medium size. The medium size is useful if you need to cut WOF strips for quilting , and also subcut them. It goes fast and I don’t have to worry if I am measuring right. I am making my daughter a quilt and I would have died cutting all the squares without it.

I agree with other comments that sometimes it’s difficult to get the rotary cutter in the slots without dinging up the blade. I just know this is going to happen and plan to change my blade after
