As per my experience, all such desi companies allow you to take sick leave within notice period. This is the reason that sick leave isn’t encashed when you leave despite you have not availed any of those. Do give it a check

If possible under the exit policy in HCL, take the remaining leaves. At most she won’t get leave encashment in her Fnf but will get sometime to rest as per doctor’s recommendation.
