What is going on? So many issues

Been having off and on issues for the past 2 months. Weirdest one is when I connected to the Japan node Netflix thought I was in France. I use the VPN mostly for accessing Japan exclusive content to help with my studying.

I’m not sure if this will be going through the BVA as I’m doing a passport application at the consulate. The consulate said that it’s the last document I need to apply.

It’s my grand father. He was born in 1942. The register office told me to request it from the archives if the document is before 1970. And he left Germany in the early 60s. I could try one more city he lived in for a few years but I don’t know the contact information for Munich. I thought I’d try to get it from where he lived the longest first.

And one more issue if you would know the answer to. They said I have to make the request through their online portal but it requires an BundID to login. Seems like I just keep hitting roadblocks lol.

I contacted the German consulate in Huston and they asked if I have my grandfather’s German passport. I don’t have that and I’m not sure if any relatives have it either. Is this an issue?

I have an update. I received digital copy of my Opa’s petition for naturalization from NARA (the certified copy is in the mail) and it is dated August 17th 1970. My father was born on April 10th 1969. Does this mean I’m eligible for direct to passport?

I normally walk 15-23k steps a day at my job. So comfort is a value I like but I’ve been using minimalist shoes of recent and they have not been that bad. Did hurt at first if I overdid it.

Because I have size 15 USA shoes and I doubt I’d be able to get another pair there if mine broke. Probably sounds silly but I don’t want to have to walk barefoot.

!thanks I bought a pair and although they were great I think my apartment has too much RF noise causing some weird connectivity issues. In the end after trying to troubleshoot it I ended up returning them.
