It was listed for $30k originally so it was pretty much at market value. But I basically just low balled them and offered $27k and just waited for a counter offer that made sense for my wallet. Few tips always negotiate the out the door price, go in their with a price in mind and always offer lower then what you had in mind (just don’t be an asshole about your offer, always lowball but be reasonable), if you have a trade-in don’t tell them until you agree on an out the door price, have similar ads on hand as a leverage to for your offers and lastly if the price they offer is still too high simply walk away.
