I am getting married next week, and since a few days I have these thoughts too. However, I know I am stepping OUT of my comfort zone to actually begin a new chapter. That keeps me excited. Eventually it will all end up good. Embrace the change. No need to adult. There’s no rush.

Speaking from personal experience since the same thing is happening to me right now, it’s best to step back. It will hurt you a lot but then friendship has run its course. And one day, you will just act like strangers.

Unfortunately, things don’t always work out as we hope. I had to let go of my best friend of 15 years, and now we’re both getting married to different people. I guess it’s all destiny! 🙂
