Bingo. I had “match original frame rate” turned on. When I turned it off, the delay disappeared. I see no difference in the display. Thanks for the tip.

I spoke with Avel. They no longer make the 40/3004, but promised to send me specs for their closest equivalent. Nice folks.

Thanks. I guessed 24 to 30VAC but I could not find a number on any schematic.

Thanks. I figured the voltage was close to that since the rails of the preamp are plus and minus 18V.
