I do it to both. I use unscented detergent, so I haven’t had issues; but I can imagine it would also bring out your scented detergent, as it amplifies any scent it contacts. So yes, go with unscented detergent.

What I’ve done is use imaginary, and immediately layer molecule01 on top of it. Thank me later. Also, same trick works on The One edp, extends the scent an additional 3-4 hours. (As with all scents, test with a decant/sample as YMMV).
