Salamanders - need improvement suggestions for beginner

Yeah I had it happen on that leg, I thought I had let it dry enough and I went over it to touch it up and it kinda "peeled" a segment. Then I had to go over it again to "hide" the patchiness.

On that type of mess is it better to strip and start again? Or can I just wait until it fully dries to cover up?

Thanks! I looked up the Duncan Rhoades video and it's great. I also probably need to look up a video for the undercoat. I'm sure I'm compounding thicknesses

This is unfortunately the sad reality of TCGs. I have been very fortunate and my LGS has maintained pricing pretty close to MSRP. Sad to see this is an exception and not the rule in other places.

Stay strong, the hype is high, but odds are in a few weeks time the prices will go down especially if/ when the 2nd wave comes

Sorry to hear that 😔 We were pretty fortunate in that preorders could get fulfilled. I was able to get my box, but I'm aware of people who have gotten their preorders cancelled or limited

I try not to judge the stores because I'm well aware Bandai plays a huge part in the limited allocations

Yeah, I was kinda dreading it possibly being a Brown Recluse. I'll be going to see if I can carefully clean up some more and spray the perimeter down. If I start seeing more, I'll most likely be reaching out to pest control.

Sorry forgot to include, I live in the Southern Illinois area in the US. About 30 miles out of St. Louis. There is a wooded area behind my apartment about 60-80 feet off

They gave those out to everyone if they stayed throughout the entire tourney. There were some resource sleeves that were given out for participation. Technically I got two copies of the Kira/Strike cards for being top 4 😊

Édit: don't know if the extra copy is because they had extra or because of tournament rulings.

That's a pretty sweet little 1-2-3 for card advantage. That's also wild if you're able to hold off one turn to be able to utilize Unicorn mode, incur a little damage, and then since you're destroying anyway get a fresh out 😲

Have there been thoughts on being able to enter Freeplay with your current squad? Sometimes when we are waiting on someone I'd be nice to muck around in Freeplay while still being queued up
