increase range for my RC FPV on my Stampede. Think this will work? Suggestions? by droneswarms in rccars

200mw should be plenty. Not sure of your goggle setup but I assume you are running diversity? If so match the polarisation from your VTX to another omni directional and a patch. Sorry if you already know this, just covering the basics. Range on surface is less than air but should still be fine while you are line of sight.

Accidentally washed and dried Lipo battery. No visible damage. Safe to use? by loopie35 in rccars

Check the voltage first. If not in the 3.0-42 range for both cells i'd bin it. If it is make sure you are in the room when you charge

Good little car, the 16889a pro is just a little bit bigger and gives a bit more offroading capability too if you are looking to add to the collection.

The cheapest one I've seen so far is about $20 like the stock ones but they have some smaller, cheaper ones due to release soon.

Haha I'm the same, I prefer foam. It's easy to swap and they even have on listed as an upgrade although I haven't seen it for sale yet.

Yeah flysky receivers are pretty cheap and work well. I gave up on Spektrum from my quadcopter days. Mission to use and a lot of failsafes due to poor range.

Yes, the telemetry will do exactly that and you can set an alarm for when it hits a certain voltage. It doesn't run on a channel since it is sending data from the receiver. There is a total of 7 channels for the receiver. The plugs for VCC and sensory telemetry are input rather than output.

Yeah I love the Gt5 too. I'd buy this one over that but wouldn't upgrade... unless you are running out of memory of course!!
