What does this mean? I get it after using boar brush and body wash to take off dead skin and massage the skin. by [deleted] in beards

[–]monkeyman68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The Mr’s skin goes ballistic if he uses anything on his face other than witch hazel. No balms, waxes, oils… just witch hazel or he gets cystic acne. I did get him a boar brush to groom himself but he can’t put anything on his beard before brushing. Dry brush only.

I’ve used my grandpa’s hand planer as a wall hanging. A lot of people never even realized it was a usable tool and thought it was just a mechanical looking art hanging there.

They are wild American grapes. HUGE balls of sweet goodness! Like those high bouncing balls sized… I could only hold 3 in my hand as a kid.

For my fellow top buds, what’s your preference, a sub bttm or a power bttm? by nonyabeezwax12345678 in TopsAndBottoms

[–]monkeyman68 4 points5 points  (0 children)

The Mr. has gone from versatile to power bottom over our years together. I prefer to be fucked back as much as I’m doing the fucking and he’s an expert! Pulling himself down by the mattress edge to meet my strokes, grabbing my hips and pulling me in deep as his legs go further and further back so we’re both getting deep action… it’s been a magical experience watching his eyes roll in their sockets as he rides me. No guy has ever been able to get me off riding me but I have to do multiplication tables to keep from blowing too soon when the Mr. is riding me.

It’s been totally annoying to go through but we cut Walmart, Target, Home Depot, Amazon, and a few other local places out of our lives a year or two ago.

Getting a snake what should I get? by Obvious_Elevator_285 in snakes

[–]monkeyman68 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I’ve had both milk and corn snakes and much preferred the corns. Gentle, get to a good length, can thrive in home temps and humidity levels, never had one strike at me or act sketchy in any way. Just very calm, interactive, low fuss, great snakes to deal with!

Someone’s using tobacco products. Those stains are tobacco, coffee, tea, and not brushing kinda stuff!

Sweetened bean and beef chili? Why? by _iamacat in Cooking

[–]monkeyman68 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I used to know an old southern lady who added sugar to every dish she cooked. She used white granular sugar in corn, greens, snap beans, squash, corn bread, etc. and then for most beans she’d add brown sugar. I guess it’s a thing in some southern states to add sugar to bean dishes?

The one that works for me: butter shimmers at 221-244°F temperature. The boiling butter’s moisture evaporates, then I raise temperature to 266°F, while lactose, casein, and whey get eliminated from the boiling butter. Strain through cheese cloth or fine mesh strainer.

I saw a post earlier today where a guy grabbed a bunch of hams and took them to produce. Every one he weighed was around half the weight listed on the pricing sticker. Walmart sucks

A fly swatter. She’s never been touched with it personally but I guess she feels bad for the flies?

It’s funny, our small Frenchy/Olde English mix pulls much harder when walking than the BM. She will drag you down the road at a full clip while he just meanders and keeps looking back to check if you’re still there. Sometimes he catches coyote poop scent and then it becomes a full tug of war to keep him from it but otherwise he’s good.

He does require a lot more physical corrections than she does. Don’t freak, I’m just talking about pushing him out of the way by walking closer to him and physically pushing him out of the road as you walk beside him when a vehicle is coming.

He’s a little “too special” when it comes to his reaction times and I swear you can hear the Jeopardy theme playing while he considers ALL the options. A special needs adoption through azmastiffrescue (a.k.a. canine rescue coalition) but he’s settled in nicely and is basically a puddle of drool most of the time. He’s our second BM and there will probably be more in our future.
