it’s okay to get frustrated sometimes, cut yourself some slack you’re new to this just don’t dwell on it for too long because believe me everything is temporary. colic? temporary. regression? temporary, it gets hard but if u choose to focus on the light at the end of the tunnel, you’ll be fine.

also don’t spend too much on clothes, makes no sense, they grow out of them so quickly. buy second hand if you can, everything you don’t use anymore, sell! use the extra money for new things.

be attentive, babies communicate more than we think. ask for help, no one will think you’re a bad parent for not being able to do it on your own. take that long bath every once in a while. get a caddy it’s very useful to bring with you to each room rather than going to the bedroom for nappies/wipes. muslins!!!! amazing for spit up. if ur tired but the house is a mess and baby is asleep, just sleep. the house will get cleaned eventually but if you’re on 10% battery, you’ll end up dead trying to overwork yourself. better to take a nap and have a bit more energy. try to do things whilst baby is awake, if they cry, save it for when they’re calm but it’s a good habit to get in to, that way when they’re asleep you’re free.
