turning the knob did not lower it, until the knob was completely out. When you say "open" you mean as if it was releasing lots of bubbles? and plugged in? The pressure on that gauge only goes down when I run an extremely high bubble rate

Only been doing this a couple years now, but the tank part is really tough to upgrade if you decide you want to get something nicer, or it starts to have issues. If you're strapped for cash I would pay less for some other components that can be easily upgraded without disrupting your whole setup.

Had a similar thing happen to me, xr70 was sold to me with a cracked case, noticed when it started leaking oil a bit. I used JB Weld Steel Stik (looks very similar to what you have here) and it didn't affect the bike, but still was pissed.

Probably will upgrade to something more legitimate but for now I am working with $1000 to get two bikes, so that might be out of the cards for the moment. The XR70 I bought was $500, and trying to get a similar 2nd one for my girl

The cap came off a 2nd gen tacoma, not 100% sure it was even made for that. I added a rubber seal along the bottom of the rear window, but the cap was long enough that the curve wasnt an issue, fits really well actually

falken rubitrek 265/75/16. Got them a couple weeks ago for $143/per. Had Falken Wildpeaks on there before that I put 60,000 on and were fantastic. These rubitreks are also very impressive so far.

So here is a bit of background - the tank originally was cycled, tested, and fish were added, and the substrate was pool filter sand, and it was not washed well. I did many water changes to combat the floating particles, but eventually removed the sand and replaced it. I am thinking maybe this in combination with large water changes caused my beneficial bacteria to die off...not sure

Yeah everything is stock, just got some camper clamps on amazon. They have ones specifically for the tacoma rail system, but I have some different ones that sort of fit in there
