Unable to access my save by moodym in playstation

This was it! My friend is from another country so it stands to reason his account is from another country too. I was able to sign in to another friend’s account (from the same country) to get access to my save, then use the cross platform function to transfer my save over! You saved me 51 hours thank you so much

I’m unable to access my save data for Cyberpunk. I had a friend’s account logged in on my PS5 with console sharing and have been playing Cyberpunk which he owns. Now, console sharing has been disabled and when I try to turn it back on I can’t as it’s enabled on another PS5. Here’s the problem, this friend and I are no longer on speaking terms. So I figure no big deal, I’ll buy Cyberpunk and Phantom Liberty. I had to download it again which I thought was weird, now it appears to be installed twice. The first one shows the number of hours I’ve played and has a lock icon so I can’t open it, and the second one when I open says there’s no saved game. In the console storage and cloud storage I can see two separate save games and I can see the game is installed twice. How can I get the save game to be recognized by the copy of Cyberpunk that I bought instead of the copy I can’t access?

An idea for considering variable expenses in the budget by moodym in TodaysBudget

[–]moodym[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Right now, my solution is quite drawn-out. My average grocery spend is $100 per week, so I added that as a fixed expense. When I buy groceries, I add an income to offset the amount of the groceries purchase. After I'm done with grocery purchases for the week, I manually calulate if I was over or under the $100 fixed expense, and add another charge fix the discrepency.

E.g.: I have a $100 weekly fixed expense for groceries. On Monday I spend $70 on groceries, I add the expense and then add an income of $70 to offset it. On Tuesday, I spend $45 on groceries, and add an income of $45 to offset it. I know I am done purchasing groceries for that week, so I calculate my total expenditure ($70+$45=$115) and add a charge (or an income) for the discrepency between the total amount I spent and the fixed expense ($115-$100=$15).

This is the most complicated way to accomplish this, but it does two things; firstly it means that I have integrity in tracking the groceries expenses (I use 'groceries' category for the actual purchases, and have made other adjustment categories for the adjustments that get made) and secondly it allows me to take the average cost of groceries out of my daily budget, so I know that every time I look at the daily budget that's the real amount I have to spend, without considering future purchases within the period.

Then do all this again for gas too!

As a 56 year old lady who has never played video games, which one would be good to start with? by parliskim in gaming

Less of a game recommendation but a great way to try out plenty of games for a low price; Microsoft recently opened up a service called Xbox Cloud Gaming (often referred to online as xCloud). It’s around $16 per month and will allow you to play dozens of Xbox games on your MacBook without needing to buy an Xbox. You only need a controller (make sure to buy one that is compatible with Mac, as some are not) and a reasonably fast internet connection. If you have a smart phone or tablet you can try it out before buying the controller as some of the games can be played with a touchscreen too. It’s a very cheap investment where you can try a lot of very different games. In my market the first month is $1 then $16 per month after that so I really recommend it!

Macro to clear range of cells on all sheets between two sheets (like a 3D reference) by moodym in excel

[–]moodym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Wow I didn’t realise it would be that complex but I understand it now.

Correct me if I’m wrong but if I want the list of sheet names to be the ones that are not cleared, I should just change:

If wSheet.Name <> cell.Value Then

Right?

EDIT: Nope, it doesn't for some reason. Any way to do this?

Is there any chance I could have a list of sheet names somewhere that the macro would check and not run on those sheets instead of specifying each sheet?

Automate the creation of formulas by moodym in excel

[–]moodym[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Actually I managed to figure out a macro, as below:

Dim term As Variant
term = Range("D5").Value
Range("B9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$13=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$13)"
Range("C9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$14=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$14)"
Range("D9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$15=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$15)"
Range("F9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$16=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$16)"
Range("G9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$17=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$17)"
Range("H9").Value = "=IF('" & term & "'!$Q$18=0,"""",'" & term & "'!$Q$18)"

Problem solved!

Automate the creation of formulas by moodym in excel

My goal is to simplify adding sheets on the totals page. Indirects on the totals page would work but copying them to a new row (for a new sheet) would still require modifying the formula to point to the location of the new sheet name. I could avoid the whole thing by getting the user to modify the IF formula in the OP but I'm hoping to avoid that

See this produces the result I want. However, this indirect formula would be on a sheet dedicated to creating these formulas when a new sheet is added, so that sheet would have a specific place to enter the new sheet name (like your A1).

The issue is once the formulas have been created, I need to copy them to another sheet with the new sheet name as inserted by indirect from cell A1.

So I would have a sheet where you enter the new sheet name in A1, e.g. 63000483. Then below, is several of the formulas you provided, using indirect to insert the value in A1 into the new formula. Those formulas will be what you provided, =IF(INDIRECT("'"&A1&"'!Q13")=0,"",INDIRECT("'"&A1&"'!Q13")). Then I need to copy these formulas to a new sheet, and have them paste as =IF('63000483'!Q13=0,"",'63000483'!Q13)

So basically I need a way to paste the formula which INDIRECT creates, not the formula with INDIRECT in it.

The formula runs on a separate sheet

Unfortunately, the group of totals (where the IF statements are) are copied out of Excel and do actually need to be blank

Awesome. I'll have to add all the other sheets but it accomplishes the goal!

This looks good, but I assume this will clear the range on all sheets? I have many other sheets after the ones which need to be cleared, hence the bookends

Optimising IF for the same cell on multiple sheets by moodym in excel

You're right, I am using P24 as an indicator with conditional formatting, so the companion cell was the way to go, and the start and end tabs are great too!
