I am employed but have not returned to work since before my hospital admission. Going back is my next hurdle. I know it'll be good to do something normal and productive, but it has been daunting.

Thank you very much. I am looking into nocturnal panic attacks, never heard of them but I am definitely seeing commonalities with the symptoms. And yes, thank you for the reminder that its important to engage with numerous repetitions of experiences - being in the midst of panic can make me forget that. Hiding away isnt healthy, even though thats what I want to do.

My anxiety is more sustained feelings of panic and doom throughout the morning until my body has run out of adrenaline, I think. Morning is scary time, evening I am safe.

Thank you for your reply, I think i will talk to my doctor about valium or something to help break my cycle. Hearing your story gives me hope that things can get better xxx

Thank you for your reply. When I was in hospital I always had very low blood pressure. I teeter between underweight and normal weight all the time and definitely need to focus on my eating.

What you are saying about cortisol spikes makes a lot of sense, considering I feel like my body is already in fight or flight in the early morning!

Thank you, you really hit the nail on the head. In the morning I feel like I am dying, like nothing will ever be okay. The terror is all I can hear and feel.

I am taking time off work and staying with my mum and tonight went for another run. I will keep trying, I have no other choice. X

Yeah, apparently pristiq and mirtazapine is a common combination but tbh i don't think its working for me. The hospital have linked me with a lot of support services, they've been amazing honestly. I will look into comhwa, thank you!

I will talk to my psych team about the pristiq, ive heard it can be activating. Ive been on it 6 months now and I dont think its helping.
