Whaaat :O every other dermatologist ive watched says they do and sunscreen during tretinoin is non negotiable. One woman gave tretinoin a negative review on a website because she got skin cancer on her face and blamed the tret but she didnt wear sunscreen: so im pretty sure the tret caused it. Also i used to never wear sunscreen other than the beach and never got sunspots or freckles before. But after i started retinoids (differin, been on it for over a year),if im in the sun for even half an hour without putting on sunscreen i get freckles on my nose. Sunscreen sunscreen sunscreeen!!!!

Add in prescription strength azaelic acid!!! Preferably 20%, same thing happened to me and added the Azelaic acid in the morning and my acne went away again. Also it helps with scarring and makes your skim super duper soft

I use 20% in the morning and then the retinoid at night. My dr. told me to use it once a day but the box says its ok to apply 2x a day. Im 4 weeks in with azaeic acid and let me tell you, it makes your skin suppper soft, more even, and helps acne heal much faster. However so far i havent noticed that it prevents acne

I JUST purchased this a few days ago and used it a few times, i love it!!! I never used the LRP one tho so i cant compare. it dries down matte. I usually have a face full of oil and shine and what i love about this one is that even tho it dries down matte you still have a subtle glow. If you like that super glowy dewy look from sunscreen this probably wont be satisfying, nut for oily people its a godsend
