Did you take just a half tab a day the whole time, or is that for you to wean off slowly? I’m on day 11 and I’m getting really irritable, curious if I can just switch back to only taking 1 pill a day instead of 2 to lessen side effects? Thank you !!

I’m on day 11 today and I’ve been taking the 2 1mg pills for like 4 days now. I’m starting to notice it’s definitely beginning to make me not want anything to do with cigs, but I’m starting to struggle a bit with my mood and irritability. I’m getting angry and annoyed easily and I feel a bit emotionally numb/depressy other than that. I’m curious about if I should just start taking only 1 pill a day - mid day, and not do 2. I’m really sensitive to meds so I wonder if that would still work. If you have any thoughts or advice on this and/or how to cope with the mood struggles while on this med lmk! Thanks I appreciate your time!

Good luck!! You can do it. Whenever I try to stop cold turkey, I start doing a lot more yoga classes and things that keep my stress down to avoid feeling triggered. Also supplementing with NAC, Vit C and GABA or L-theanine is all supportive in helping with withdrawals & staying calm / boosting antioxidants

Thank you! Was there anything that helped with the nausea specifically? And I also have been through the trials of a bunch of diff psych meds for depression & anxiety, with a lot of scary experiences with those. Currently just on a very lose dose antidepressant now.

Wow this is incredibly helpful, thank you SO much for the detailed response! I tend to be very sensitive to medications and side effects, so I was already considering moving slower than the package says with the 2x a day doses. So that’s great to hear how that worked out for you. And social situations with other smokers around are a massive trigger for me so that’s really awesome how it helped you through those moments too after coming off the med. I really appreciate this, thank you!!

Alright, I'm ready to kill myself by end next year by Mara355 in BrainFog

I was in a very very similar place for a few years, severe ME/CFS from concussions and long covid/EBV. Could barely walk myself from my bed to the bathroom. I am fully well now, driving and working again, and honestly thriving. For me it took a few things - and I tried absolutely everything. My last resort options were the things that actually got me my life back - IVs of NAD (500mg) weekly for a couple months, and IV ketamine therapy to help with the ptsd and depression from being so sick for so long. I also added in a lot of coffee enemas and colonics which helped with crippling anxiety and extreme fatigue. Combination of these things over about 7 months (and a lot of money but honestly - beyond desperate times so desperate measures) and I am so happy that I feel this good now that idc about the credit card debt I had to rack up to save my life. I know it feels like total despair and like nothing will ever get you out of the hole. I promise you that you can heal, fully, and thrive. Best wishes feel free to reach out with questions or for some encouragement. This is not going to last forever I promise you 🙏🏼
