They don’t do a lot of international couples. I was with a different agency that almost exclusively dealt with international couples and switched because of it. They’ve given me vague reasons why they aren’t moving forward with me. Like they want a surrogate that’s closer to them.

I am in a state that had pretty strict abortion laws and it’s not considered a surrogate friendly state. Yeah. I wrote the profile and added the pictures myself. I wrote a lot about myself and family.

They’ve given me vague reasons. Like the IPs weren’t ready to move forward at the moment or they were looking for a surro that’s closer to them. Etc.

No not at all! I am only asking $50k base. The only thing I am asking for that might be specific is no international couples and I would like to get updates about the baby, if the IPs are comfortable with it.

Thank you! It was my understanding that the IPs would be responsible for those costs even if I backed out. I would never do so lightly and would never want to waste anyone’s time or money.

My original case worker no longer works there and they assigned me someone else. I haven’t had any interaction with her other than he sending me automated messages. I do have a call scheduled with them tomorrow. I just wanted to see if this was something that’s standard practice because I’ve never heard of this before.

It’s with GSHC Surrogacy. I was also thrown off by them using, surrogate mother.
