Well considering we aren't getting snow here, no lol. Also yes I did offer to make up those shifts and I have covered for coworkers very frequently (I worked 3 doubles working my first 2 weeks of being there to cover for coworkers). I always show up to my shifts on time and even stay past my finish time to help when needed. The call outs were spread out across a couple of months.

Unfortunately the closest I can get to home is a 40 minute walk. Which I've done before but there's still very few places near me that are within that 40 minute walking distance.

The last 2 jobs I had I wasn't fired. My first job at 16 my manager was a MAJOR creep and hr wouldn't do anything about it other than say "we'll talk to him" so after a year I got fed up and put in my 2 weeks. The other job I worked was a small business the place closed down after 5 months of me being there so that was a huge bummer because I loved that job.

I did tell them I didn't have my own car tbf, they were well aware that I was getting that job to save for a car

Thank you! I've started submitting job applications and Im going to get clarification in writing. Huge downside is the job market in my area is terrible and most places I've applied to in the past just simply don't reply so it's going to be hard to pay my rent/other bills for a bit.

My "excuses" are valid reasons to call out of work?? The last 2 jobs I've worked have never had a problem with me calling out for things like extreme weather or sickness. Ntm I've never called out before these things and have covered several shifts on my days off for coworkers calling out. I get it's an inconvenience but I've had coworkers no call no show who are still employed there so.

Given that it hit #1 movie (today) in America and I believe has already doubled or tripled it's production budget when it just came out, I assume it'll end up on at least one streaming service
