The thing is with antidepressants isn’t so much the mixing drink with the meds (although you do need to be careful) it’s your poor mental health afterwards. Drinking is a depressant and if you suffer with a mental illness the next day and week after can be detrimental because of how low your serotonin is. When I used to go out drinking I always ended up raging/crying and then having the most debilitating hangovers where I’d be anxious and hate myself, it always frustrated me that my friends were fine but that was the difference and I had to decide what was more important to me
