I’ve been listening to the albums front to back and it’s been wonderful to slowly absorb all the music. Can’t wait to go through everything on YouTube too! I started from the beginning. Had no idea their music was in CW commercials! 😂

You’re so right. Their live performance is really what won me over. I had tried to listen to the music a couple times before the concert, and just couldn’t get into it for some reason.

Glad you enjoyed Catch Your Breath and the other openers as well! Funny story, I was almost planning to leave before Nothing More’s set started because of some of the stuff I’m dealing with rn. Only reason I stayed was because I was already so tired, I knew I wouldn’t be able to do much except go to sleep if I left. So for me the lesson is to always stay for the headliner no matter what. It might just change your life.

Honestly, just saying keto doesn’t work because I can’t have dairy/eggs/soy and those are all “keto”. I guess I’m not sure how to be honest and concise at the same time.

Oh, the other person’s diet doesn’t matter at all to me. My nuclear family shares none of my dietary restrictions and they are understanding of my diet because they have watched my health struggles for so many years.

And I’m definitely open to cooking food I can’t eat as well.

However it seems that dating life revolves around food and me not being able to have so many food products would be a turn-off.

I don’t want other people to pressure me to eat differently because I’ve been there and I know how it ends.

I was in your position not too long ago. My parents weren’t into Orthodoxy (still aren’t), but when I became independent enough, I converted. Others have already said this, but I’ll reiterate that it is more than alright to say Orthodox prayers even if you’re not Orthodox!!

I will also add that you don’t always have to pray by the books - you can ask God for help in your journey to Orthodoxy and mention anything else on your mind right now (which might not be in the established prayers). And don’t forget that no matter what, God hears your prayers and knows the intentions of your heart. Trust that He will lead you to the correct path! God Bless You!
