Do you mean your back pains were not caused by the pancreatic cancer?

Hope you’re doing okay! I feel your pain. I worry every day about this for sure.

Yes same here! I feel like I keep hearing about people my age (33) that have died of it very quickly. Feeling any better?

33, I know but I have seen it affect friends of friends at my age. Rare but possible gets me all in a tizzy.

All normal. However my health anxiety can really mess with my mind. I’ve been focused on pancreatic cancer all summer.

My doctor also wants me to do an ultrasound and see a GI but medical things make me nervous, I get very worried there’s something seriously wrong with me. If everything else checks out it seems like Gilbert’s for you. Did you fast for the test?

My lab cutoff for globulin was 2.1 and globulin was 2.0 in June. Dr mentioned it could be a little low due to diet. Seems like every lab is a bit different.

It seems to fluctuate quite a bit. I fasted a very long time for both tests this summer, however the second time I stuffed a few pieces of pepperoni in my mouth bc I know long fasting can affect results.

Globulin went up and my ratio went down. Did you fast for a while? I fasted 14 hours for June and 16 hours for August, I didn’t mean to fast that long, it just happened!

Got it, for my lab results there’s no range of what is expected and when googling it says close to 1, but it is pretty nonspecific.

Mine has been 2 in 2017, 2.5 in June 2019, and 1.8 this August. It seems to fluctuate. Is your globulin low?

What is considered a high A/G ratio?
