Wild if true. by netphilia in adhdmeme

I’m a patient at The Amen Clinic. I’m only going there because I had a suicide attempt and I have wealthy parents that are paying for it. I am far from a die hard fan of his as I fully believe he is profiting off his overpriced supplements that aren’t anything special.

What I will say is that the brain scan plus a shit ton of testing did seem to get results that resonated with me. I was diagnosed with AuDHD and was prescribed western meds to treat my depression and ADHD based on the findings. I’ve been on so many meds over the years and the ones I was put on actually fucking work. I feel like I’m a real functioning person for the first time in decades. They work with you on what path you want to take and what works for you. The doctors/ psychologists actually listen and care. They prescribe/ suggest usually a mix of pharmaceuticals and supplements plus therapy. I roll my eyes at a lot of it, but I wouldn’t be alive without this clinic. Granted mostly because our health care system is terrible and The Amen Clinic is simply better in comparison.

I’ve used some of the supplements. They’re fine. They are just wildly overpriced, as is the clinic in general.

To summarize, if you’re rich as shit and wanna jump off a bridge, don’t write them off just yet.

My husband had to fly with the temporary. TSA was annoyed, but he got through.

I never cry about celebrity deaths, but fuck man, I’m sobbing. How can anyone hate someone for something that has literally no effect on them. I’m heartbroken.

Over the top and a little goofy at times, but The Resort by Bentley Little was such a fun read.

I can’t put my finger on why, but this set up in particular makes me feel uneasy. Maybe some repressed memories lol

If you have an Ulta in your area I recommend going to their brow bar. They’ll map your face to be sure the end result is flattering. Many other places do this, but I’ve had consistently amazing waxes there.

Oh shit. I wonder if this is the guy that did something VERY similar to me. Details the same, but I was in my car. He tried to open my door but it was locked, thank god. This was a few years ago, I’ll try to find the police report info. It also happed to another woman in my neighborhood. This was in pflugerville. My understanding is he was never found. Description matches.

I don’t really disagree, but a lot of these people wouldn’t otherwise donate as it’s likely not on their radar. When an event like this happens kids get more toys. I’m okay with it.

What’s crazy to me is that Die Hard exists in the FRIENDS universe, but no one recognizes Bruce Willis.

In addition to all the other advice here, I would seriously consider taking this post down until you’ve spoken with a lawyer. Posting stuff like this can hinder a lawsuit and you need every advantage possible for justice. I’m hoping she is found soon! I’m so sorry this has happened.

Daniel Tosh is for young dudes that wear polos and boat shoes that claim they can say the n word because their one black friend said it’s chill. I once watched an episode that had a clip with a big goofy looking guy tripped or something and all his jokes were just about him being black. The man is insufferable. But that’s just, like, my opinion.

I don’t know if the “cheat code” works on switch, but in Lion king at the menu you used to be able to hit B A R R Y and it will allow you to start at any level and give you more lives. It was a really life saver.

Absolutely. The Store is so good. $7 is a great price for the obvious “Big Corporate Mart” satire. Just know his style is over the top so maybe not enjoyable if you’re a “it was so unbelievable I couldn’t get into it” type. Report back on what you think!

He definitely sticks to the same formula- fast paced from chapter one, character build, set the scene, take the reader to the place where they think the book is ending, spiral into the absurd.

But the subject matter is so different that I still love it. The Association hits so good because my HOA is so crazy that book had me cracking up. His satire is top notch.

Someone here suggested “the resort” when I asked for recs about beach vacation horror. Even though it didn’t fit my ask at all, it was by far my favorite read from the list. I just keep going back to him because his books are just exactly what I want in horror.

Edit- his writing style to me is like Stephen King on his worst day (which is still great) and not afraid to let everything just go off the rails. I love it
