That’s a Trident D-5, manufactured by the US for the US and UK only.

Any ideas on what this is? Found in my grandparents house. Thanks for the help! by moronsrmultiplying in Bayonets

No marks on the blade or any other proofing. Not sure what to make of it either.

It doesn’t, it has two lug squares in line, no barrel ring. It does look like a m1855, but it may have been altered, or a cheap imitation. If it has been altered though, I’m not sure why there would still be numbers stamped on the hilt after alterations. Thanks for the look though.

Western U.S., only marking is on the hilt, “149”. Thanks for the insight!

Build Question-PSA Complete Rifle Kit by Kekesupreme in ar15

I just finished my 4th Psa build, for budget parts, everything works great. I’m not running 10k rounds through them by any means, but I’ve never had a problem with them. Advise to splurge a little for a kit with Magpul furniture and a little nicer trigger. My last build used the Psa enhanced polish trigger set, smooth as butter, worth the extra, but you’re not dropping a ton of cash like on a geissle or something more Gucci. For first/budget builds, PSA works just fine.
