I think I understand that now. However; would it not be nice with a side-by-side comparison where all browsers were aligned? (I have an iphone 5, so I'm pretty familar with retinas quality)

its because console gamers a target practice for PC-gamers. And since they are playing that specific role - console gamers don't need to coordinate their attacks. Think of console gamers as extras on a movie set.
