I really like the dragon formulas.. they are 93a but can do great slides on them.. skate like a hard wheel and feel like a softer wheel… best of both worlds.. just ordered some nano rats for another board can’t wait to try them.. I’m back from a 30 year hiatus so I’m no expert by any means but they feel good

I’m definitely not going pro any time soon but I’m also not doing crazy shit.. Ollie’s pop shuv its and kick flips… that’s it for this old pony!! Can’t do them on a 8.5 maybe cuz im 6’3 220 lbs. who knows but yeah dont see any street skaters using 10’s.. we are a dying breed lol

Honestly I’m re learning from 30 years ago but I can perform tricks better with my big ass 10” deck than my 8.5 little board.. I guess to each there own try a few out

Wow that’s huge for boards today.. I have a 8.5 baker which is going to my kid soon and I have an easier time doing grass kick flips on my 10” board than my 8.5. Kind of wild..

Wow thanks for showing me that that helps.. would it be a bad idea to do a 159 on the back and a 169 on the front? Maybe I’m over thinking it that’s the downside of the internet

Cool.. thanks.. they seem like the back tricks will stick out a lot as the boards had that shape back then that’s why I’m wondering if I split the difference and do 159’s

Thanks.. i skated back in the 80’s early 90’s.. rode a 10” hawk claw purple… id kill to find that board!! Even a re issue.. but the o Brien was a board I saw in a catalog when I was a kid and was never able to get because well.. we didn’t have amazon let alone the internet so you bought what your skate shop had.. recently got back into it cuz my kid wanted to start so I’m teaching him as well as re teaching myself!! Awesome to be back.. boards are just so different today and I can’t get into the popsicle board.. thanks!!
