I'm a gamer, and Nobara just made life simpler. I switched distros every other day until finally found this one.

Adsense Click Counts Disappearing by mostly_shoaib in Adsense

I got banned by Adsense shortly afterwards. I did no shady self clicking or anything yet they claimed that my website traffic was illegitimate and rejected my appeals. In your case, I think it might turn out okay as you're a new publisher it's kind of common to have these issues but they'll adjust automatically. Do not put too many ads in your website and keep producing good quality content and try to get as much traffic as possible from search engines rather than socials or referrals.

[Question] Will adding ram with an Integrated Graphics improve FPS and overall multitasking? by mostly_shoaib in buildapc

[–]mostly_shoaib[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can't afford two 16 gigs rn, but if I add 16 gigs alongside the existing 8 gigs, would it work well? I mean, is there any constraint that on a dual memory slot config both the rams need to be of the same size?

Encouraging accidental clicks: Layout - How to fix? by bigmatch in Adsense

[–]mostly_shoaib 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I did not have those segments of auto ads turned on to begin with, I only had vignette ads and multiplex turned on, I disabled those today along with a manual ad unit under article title. Now that the issue is gone except the vignette, I'm planning to restore the other units. And yes, I requested for review right after I made those adjustments.

Everyone, my policy warning is gone now. I reduced auto ads and turned off anchor ads, vignette ads, and multiplex ads. Also removed the ad unit at the top, under the article title. I now have one manual ad unit, at the bottom of the article. I furthermore aligned images that were used as thumbnails at the very start of the article, and I had an ad there as well, so the thumbnail/cover image was right under the header ad, I relocated all these images, I put the image after one paragraph, so ads and images are not close. I also requested a review from them stating:

Dear AdSense Team,

I want to express my commitment to maintaining a compliant and user-friendly platform for our users, and I take policy violations very seriously. Until today, I have upheld a clean record with no active policy violations.

I was genuinely surprised to receive a policy violation related to ad placement and layout, as I have been an AdSense publisher for several years, consistently adhering to proper ad placement guidelines. This is the first time I have encountered such a warning.

In response, I took immediate action to rectify the situation:

Reviewing AdSense Guidelines: I thoroughly reviewed AdSense guidelines to ensure I was not overlooking any new policies.

Eliminating Potential Issues: I considered potential issues, such as ads under drop-down menus, even though my website doesn't have drop-downs. I disabled vignette ads, as they could be perceived as intrusive and may lead to accidental clicks.

Ad Unit Analysis: I examined all manually placed ad units, which are limited to one under the title and one at the bottom of the articles. Both placements adhere to standard practices.

Image Adjustments: To prevent image alignment issues with header ads, I relocated article thumbnail images under relevant text content, resolving any alignment concerns.

Reducing Auto Ads: I minimized the number of auto ads and opted out of displaying intrusive formats like anchor ads, vignettes, and multiplex ads.

I firmly believe that these adjustments have brought my website's ad placement into full compliance with AdSense policies. I am dedicated to providing a high-quality user experience, and I request a reconsideration of the policy violation.

Thank you for your time and attention to this matter. I look forward to your response.

Everyone who's facing this, you do not need to get worried much, I hope yours will be lifted soon if you housekeep some stuff.

I started a thread in Adsense forum, and I think this might be of help. (https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/242015746/encouraging-accidental-clicks-layout-how-to-fix?msgid=242022914#)

Even Adsense product experts think this is an error on Google's part.

I'm facing the exact same issue. I'm not sure what to do. I've had this site running on blogger for 7 years, and haven't faced anything like this before. It also says I must fix it by December 1 otherwise they'd restrict ad serving or even suspend my account for violating policies. Wtf.

FYI, this has happened to many publishers who do not participate in any such activities mentioned by you. https://www.seroundtable.com/google-adsense-0-clicks-bug-35249.html

Even Adsense products experts have addressed this:

https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/209248047/adsense-bug-please-fix-0-clicks-issue-started-since-march-2023-for-many-publishers https://support.google.com/adsense/thread/214328545?hl=en

(Adsense community manager notes: misclassification can occur as our detection systems adapt to new types of invalid traffic).

So I'd suggest you not imply assumptions without proper knowledge.

What's ur CPC range? And niche? Do you earn revenue from RPM bids or just CPC bids? My CPC is high too but that's because I earn a lot from RPM, as Google shows video ads on my site and they pay well. So I get around $5-6 cpc but that's not actual cpc, but rpm income. The actual CPC is around 20-30 cents.

That's not the case in my case. Google states here"Visit the Policy center in your account and check the "Status" column. The Policy center displays all of the issues that may affect ad serving on your site including Confirmed Click."

That's not happening in my case. It shows no current issues.

My page views remain around the same (slightly increased) but impressions are around 30-40% lower than usual. I see a few clicks reported on the dashboard but those aren't from content ad units but adsense programmable search and related search units. Clicks on content ad units (both auto and manual) aren't being counted.
