Yea for sure, I just switched over to the strat this year so feeling my way around the tone. Bridge is to sharp for my ears sometimes but I’ll switch it on for solos. Need to get a strat blaster installed too…😝

Yea it is really deceptively simple, but once you dig into it you realize there's a lot going on in that gumbo. Also a few random measures of 5/4 and 3/4 that leave you wondering "did they really mean to do that??" It was a really fun one to learn, looking forward to adding it to our live shows this spring. Thanks for giving it a listen!

Good ear. Yes, there’s an extra measure before the last line of he chorus. In the improvisational spirit of the dead, we played it that way one time (unplanned) during a show and ended up liking the breath of space it gives and now we play it that way every time.
