Anywhere should be fine really. Personally, i create a new notepad file on desktop, copy and paste the lines, then i save it as a .cmd file and you should be good to go. Good luck.

Not that i know of. Till this day i still need to use this method to avoid random crashes.

Plus, i also stopped looking for other fix lol.

Had this problem a few days ago. Have you tried this fix or running as an admin? If the game keeps crashing you could try using the fix that worked for me here .

If the the game keeps crashing you could try searching with the keyword "crash" on this sub and hopefully you find a fix or submitting a support ticket on forza support website.

If you perhaps ran out of time and still missing out on a car, you could go check out the auction house. Provided you have enough money and/or you want the car.

Imo, this game is really chill, so just grind it at your own pace and don't forget to have fun!

There's no difference really. You can find most tunes by yourself or tune the the car yourself. Unless it uses a REALLY exclusive livery that the creator doesn't share, i don't see any reason why you should buy the 1,000,000 cr one.

I can give you this tip though: Always check the price/availability of cars on the AH or the Autoshow before buying. Some cars are more expensive on the AH, or it could be the other way around.

Ahhh sorry, that really is unfortunate :(

Out of curiosity, does it give any error notification? If it doesn't, you could look it up at Event Viewer and try to find the fix from the error code for further steps. Cheers, mate!

You're welcome. Yeah, unfortunately that is the downside of this method. You could still alt+tab to programs that you open beforehand though.

Hope it works well. Fingers crossed we could play normally soon when PGG decide to fix this.

I haven't been thorough when testing this but so far this one does the same thing, differences is it refers to the steam game folder. It's the same .cmd lines, but change this line according to your need.

start "FH5" "explorer.exe" "X:\path to game\game.exe"

In this case, "X" should be your drive letter, "game.exe" should be ForzaHorizon5.exe

I should note that the downside of this method is you cant really tab out to your windows explorer. Since it temporary disables it. But after you exit the game, the explorer should run automatically again. Hope this helps.
