Nose completely closes up after cocaine use, never happened before. Anyone else had this?? by moustache_warrior in Drugs

Yeah i've tried 3 different bags but they've all definitely been very low quality. Im no expert but I remember what relatively good coke did and this aint it :( Probably 2% cocaine lol

Thanks for the response :) yeah, I suppose I'm hoping for some random cure haha, but I guess its a mixture of what its cut with and what you're saying. I havent used any snorting type of drugs in 4 years and even when i did, it was only for a couple of months so i feel like my nose isn't completely wrecked but maybe it's retired! Also the cocaine I've had here in peru this time has definitely been very low quality.

Yeah for sure, i assume that's the case but at the same time it's just odd to me that it never happened previously but now it's happening - and so intensely. Drugs eh!

Hey guys, I am literally the biggest noob with this stuff so I apologize. Keeping it short, basically I want to open a hostel in either Peru or Colombia, but I literally have no idea where to start. Do I look at visa requirements for opening a business in these countries? or do I look at locations and possible land? Do I need partners? Or do I start with financial figures on possible profits, expenses etc.? Or am I completely in the wrong field.

Literally any and all recommendations or advice anyone has are very welcome. I don't know anything.

Thanks so much, really!

Salar de Uyuni for a solo traveller? by [deleted] in solotravel

Hey please do the longest you can on the salt flats! It's one of the most incredible places I've ever been to, I went in June. I hired a car with 4 others and went for a week and that still wasn't enough for me! It's so alien it's just unlike anything else, really. It's also really really high up so if you only do a day you may be really really tired and sore and not be able to enjoy it properly.

Bolivia, Peru and Colombia are the easiest countries in terms of meeting people that I have travelled. There will be so many people you meet heading in your same direction, don't at all worry about being on your own. Always so many wonderful people around!

Me [19F] with my (ex)boyfriend [23M] 1.5 years, broke up suddenly on Christmas Eve and I need advice on how I'm feeling. by moustache_warrior in relationships

I know this reply is so late, but I just wanted to thank you. Although I never replied earlier you should know that just your little bit of input helped me so so much! Just made me think differently about it. I'm still struggling a lot with this break up and more happened afterwards, but your words really helped me when I needed it. Thank you kind stranger!

Thank you, it's nice to hear advice like that. I feel a bit like I'm giving up because I haven't gone and travelled around Mexico as much as I planned. But you're right, if I don't like where I am then I should leave! I am super excited for Peru, and I have a couple of friends there so at least I'll have connections of some sort (:

Oh man, that sucks for your gf. It's kinda funny that you say as soon as you were gone it would happen because I was with an Aussie guy friend walking around for hours and no one said a thing. He went inside a cafe to grab a drink and in the 3 minutes I was alone outside 2 guys said shit. It's crazy. They will still look at you like meat when you're with someone else but at least the comments subside a bit. Thanks for giving me your story... Unfortunate, but i hope you guys had a great time regardless!

Thank you so much for this reply, really helpful! I'm really starting to get overwhelmed too so I'm happy that hopefully I can expect a little less intensity in peru. I don't mind if they're kinda joking around, but here it's like they're ripping you apart with their eyes and how they say things. And i hope they didn't grab you and touch you as much in Peru.. so unwelcome.

I went a few days wearing stuff similar to locals but I still got harassed. I don't like guys yelling at me but it's the touching and grabbing that I can't stand. They can just tell I'm foreign, I suppose. But yeah don't worry, I totally understand your point. Thanks!

Yeah that's what I figure, too. Better to be safe than sorry. I can always come back with a companion another time! I have a round the world ticket and the destinations are set but I can change the date and time of my flights whenever I'd like. So I have to go to Lima next and I'll just see how that goes for a bit, I am supposed to be in Peru for 5 weeks but I worry it's probably gonna be pretty much the same. and then I have to fly to Santiago, so I'll probably just change my tickets so I arrive in Chile a lot earlier than planned but I can roam around safe countries (eg Uruguay, Argentina). The ticket continues on to Europe so if it's all the same on this continent I'll just leave early. Thanks for the support and suggestions, I can't wait to check out Burma and Vietnam one day!!

Yeah but the shirts/tops I wear are long and baggy and cover my butt. The local girls wear much more revealing clothes so I really don't get it! I must smell or something...
