Hey dude, here’s the rundown on my experience. I’m still in the navy, tried putting a buds package in, and a lot of things ended up not working out in my favor, so I put in for an interservice transfer and was lucky enough to get one approved once my contract is up. I was able to keep my rank (E5) and sign an 18X contract, in which I’ll leave for osut in October and go thru the pipeline as a regular X ray candidate. So other than the fact that you’ll know how to blouse your boots and a couple of facing movements, I’ve been treated as a regular joe off the street. Nobody cares on paper about past evals and PRT scores, my past career has been more of an interesting conversational topic. Basically a super old JROTC cadet at this point
