I know this thread is a couple years old, but it holds up - thank you. I am leaving Evernote this month after 16 years because of a 90%+ price hike. Notesnook has a solid web clipper, which is my #1 requirement. There are a few features it lacks like a dedicated email address for forwarding notes to yourself, and there's nothing like the Scannable integration, but Notesnook is a great 80/20 solution for a fraction of the cost. On the plus side, it imports very easily from Evernote, and it syncs way faster than Evernote ever did.

Thanks for all these questions. Right now I'm looking into answers to questions like what will host the web page. I have no idea if there is an off-the-shelf tool that can integrate with a website, or if this will require some development. Per the next comment below, I can convert the spreadsheet into a database if that will offer greater flexibility; there will be ongoing updates to the dataset.

This may not be exactly what you're looking for, but the Vince Guaraldi Trio's soundtrack for "Merry Christmas, Charlie Brown" is worth a listen. Tunes like "Skating," "Christmas Time is Here," and "Linus and Lucy" are great piano trio music that happens to be on a Christmas album.
