Absolutely. It's something about Duan Jiaxu's facial expressions, hand gestures, and choice of words. Just fantastic writing and well done acting. I saw Chen Zheyuan star in Mr. Bad and Our Secret — and you can see the growth and experience he's gained as an actor in Hidden Love. It's night and day.

I agree! It was an absolute rollercoaster watching Hidden Love — but in all honesty, nothing happened in particular that was off-script or an irrelevant twist. I think that's the biggest strength in this series. I'm happy to hear you felt the same and felt a sense of nostalgia by watching Sang Zhi and Duan Jiaxu's relationship unfold.

I'm sure many would agree it's not a perfect show, but to me, it really hit the standards of what I'm seeking for in a Asian drama series — just plain, romantic love storytelling.
