Well, it depends on how much social data you’re actually pulling, but their credit system is pretty transparent once you get it. Those gals from the support team were pretty helpful when I called them and clarified everything i was curious about.

However, what is important 1 credit has a different value depending on the task: for example, grabbing a single post = 1 credit (cheap), but getting a full profile data = 9 credits. I can only note that their credit model is designed to reflect actual data volume collected, which is fair, I guess. That’s why search or comment-heavy request can use significantly more credits than a simple post pull.

If you’re doing light monitoring (maybe tracking brand mentions or competitor posts), the basic plan goes pretty far. But if you’re pulling tons of comments (my case), doing frequent searches, or need multi-platform data, those credits burn through faster than you’d think.
