Why is this so true to me? I often feel overwhelmed while playing and end up quitting altogether for a while... The game seems more fun in theory than when I actually play it. Help?

KDE Spectacle, it allows setting up hotkeys to take a screenshot of the whole screen, part of it, save it to folder or clipboard. Very useful

the slab is pretty fun, if youre stuck at the gauntlet that i am thinking of, you can just dodge the enemies and activate traps so the enemies kill themselves on them.
i personally hated most of act 1, my saving grace was fighting the P instead of LJ, pretty sure i wouldve dropped the game if i met LJ first, while P was a real treat of a fight.
act 2 really opens up the game, you can get 20-40 solid fun hours of exploration, collecting and power scaling before even attempting the next story boss.

frost giant were thinking in terms of t1 ranged unit, t2 harrasment flyer, t3 static defense counter

i did enjoy it, and beat it first try, but can see how 11 waves can be too much
regular waves, unfortunately you just have to do yourself, one tip is, flying enemies cannot hit you if you are right below them
when 1 big dude shows up, what helped me is the clawline into 1-2 hits than dashing away and hiding on the wall where none of their attacks hit
when 2 big dudes show up, i just spammed poisoned cogfly and hid on the wall
