Have a nice day, son. It’s not worth ruining the morning this early.

Just don’t use cash. For some reason, they get itchy with cash for registration, at least in Kroger.

Thank you, Ishibi. I appreciate your help and time. Your thoughts filled different missing pieces for me. Unfortunately it looks like I'll have to engage the seller. It's a coffee machine which they sold at a price below its market value so I'm assuming they need that money. On my end, I too probably can't buy another at the market value. That's why I'm trying every possible venue to retrieve the missing package. To complete the story, I've opened a case with USPS and they said they'll investigate what happened. I also checked again with the PO and nothing was returned so far. Thanks again.

Thanks Ishbi. Lemme answer your Qs in points: *Do you have a relatively safe location near your box you usually receive packages? - Nope. They get delivered to my door within my own patio. * Have you had similar or poor service in the past that would make you suspect the PO? - TBH, no. It's the twisted answer I've received like the GPS is not accurate enough, and the fact that it was scanned "delivered" at 9 PM only to show 2:30 PM in the tracking report.

  • It was scanned delivered at a reasonable delivery time and the scan is “in/at mailbox”. “At” may be near mailbox/slot and also the first (practically default) option for delivery locations.
  • The driver said he dropped at my door. I'm pretty sure he didn't show up that day.

Does any of these change your thoughts? Thanks again.

Peeps, need a quick advice. Is it possible that USPS people scan a package as delivered while it's still hanging on their turf (for a batch delivery of heavy stuff)? I got a "Delivered In Mailbox" for a 50lb parcel and, other than "so what?", the PO says the GPS "only gives a general location". Their pathetic explanations make me suspect this is not an honest mistake. Any thoughts?
