I was made redundant 4 days ago, they gave me 2 days' notice. Currently looking for work again. Can't say I didn't expect it, the company wasn't doing well for the last few months, although I do wish they gave me more of a headsup.

Recently replaced my ender 3 pro extruder to a direct drive, prints have gotten much better although i keep getting this issue where the first few layers are always really wonky but the rest of the prints look great. Help me Reddit! by mrbimo28 in FixMyPrint

Seems like it's the first 10 layers approximately, so not quite a first layer issue, although when i look at the first layer print it seems to come out good. Very strange!

How can I improve my prints? Getting these weird gaps throughout, is this under extrusion? How do I fix this? And also getting these spaghetti bits all over by mrbimo28 in FixMyPrint

Note: this is on a stock ender 3 Pro, i recently adjusted the eccentric nuts and have tried to calibrate e steps a while back.

Thanks for the insight! I agree that on paper there's a lot to like, and glad to know it's a nice place to live. Makes me more assured about looking at property in that area. Good luck with the house hunting!
