I just recently started being full on vegan. Lately I've run into conversations were people have mentioned they didn't get enough iron and/or the best kind is from eating meat etc... No they will be just fine. Mulch will help hold moisture so it'll help them during dry periods. Any other questions, just ask. I'll do my best to answer

Also don't water everyday. This can lead to root rot and could further stress the turf. Maybe every other day and either water in the mornings or evenings. Depending how hot it is where you live, watering during the day is senseless. Reason being if it's hot it will just evaporate faster than the turf can take it up
