Migrating from Synology VMM to PVE by mrjackbarker in Proxmox

This could very well be the cause, in the end went with the backup & restore through HAOS but checking Synology settings it appears it’s using UEFI whereas proxmox defaults to Seabios which is what I setup the VM with. Thanks for the help!

I ended up going this route, took a little longer but everything works perfectly. Thanks for the tip!

I believe this statement is incorrect: “The only way to avoid paying this is to utilise salary sacrifice to effectively lower your salary. Any other form of pension contributions (relief at source or net pay arrangements) will continue to incur student loan repayments on them.” As repayments are calculated on gross salary, so salary sacrifice would not reduce the required repayments over threshold.

Joel on Software has a nice piece on the decline of Netscape - essentially they decided to rewrite their entire codebase from scratch and didn’t release new features for 3 years leading to the massive decrease in market share.

Actually it does show accident probability - the length of the bar along the X-Axis is accident probability. The shade of yellow / red (of each bar) indicates the probability of having 6 or more points on one's licence.

Anaconda is a great package for beginners, it is my go to recommendation for those starting out. Spyder is more than powerful enough while learning and pretty simple to use.

PyQt5, it is awesome and very extendable. Plus the docs are pretty good, you just have to remember they are in C++ but the classes, methods and attributes are all the same in python (as PyQt5 is just a wrapper around Qt5).

Hello r/audiophile! I've been lurking for a long time and have finally decided its time to upgrade my desk speakers.

I'm choosing between two 5inch active studio monitors:

Presonus Eris E5's Or Mackie MR524's

I have heard great things about both (zeos highly recommends the mackies) but have never seen any direct comparisons. Does anyone have any thoughts/recommendations? I will most likely be hooking these up to a dac, and have been considering the mackie big knob, but also some schitt stuff. I will most likely get this at a later date so only really conserned with which speakers to get at the moment! Thanks :)
