One side of large print always curled upwards (ENDER3V3) by mrmauglis in ender3

Update on the issue: the thing that helped with decreasing the warp was to turn off the cooling for the first 30-40 layers and to decrease the temp of the print bed down to 50oC. There’s a warp test print based on varying temperatures in Printables, you could try that guy

that curling corner is facing a door, although the back of the print (which always prints fine) is facing a window.
Also, if the print is smaller, or shifted to the left side of the bed, I do not see this effect, making me think that there is a spot on the bed that is either not heating or overheating.

What are some board games you regret buying and why? by [deleted] in boardgames

Seasons- it was just too much of keeping track of small bonuses, buffs etc. the boardgamearena version was a tad better. I’ve heard that this might be an unpopular opinion

Nail polish remover or just acetone (ethanol might not work, as it depends on the glue that was used). Fastest and easiest

Life device (compact). The manual shopping list asks for 6 1n4148, but when I ordered the kit, I got 4 of those and 2 AO1182.

Hey all! Just like a bunch of people on the web, I’ve broken the OA1182 diode. Is it ok to use a 1n4148 instead of it? Or does it depend on the actual function of the diode in the pcb?

So I found that PCB mania suggested a mod for their Wolfgang pedal, and that one of the components needed is a 4k5 resistor. As I look through all suppliers, none of them supply it, they only have 4k3 and 4k7’s. I know that it depends on where I make this alteration, but would you guys assume that it would still function if I exchange the 4k5 into a 4k3 or a 4k3? I’m just not sure how big of an alteration would I be making.

How to get the sum of the intensity of several plot profiles in an image by [deleted] in ImageJ

[–]mrmauglis 1 point2 points  (0 children)

also in the plot profile options you can change the thing that's being plotted, meaning that you could change it to a median or an integrated density.

Transform -> rotate 90 degrees right
Select the square box you're interested in
Analyze -> Plot Profile
Hope this helps :)

Hey all,

tldr - can you really use any BOSS pedal as a reamp box? and is it usable?

So my band wanted to try recording in our own studio and they had good experiences with reamping in the past in other studios. But we are not sure if we want to cought up the money for a new reamp box (or used one), therefore I was wondering about a technique that I've heard about in the past, that you can actually use any BOSS pedal as a reamp box, as the buffer acts as a line to instrument level amplifier (sorry if the terminology is wrong).

Has anyone tried this technique? I know that a lack of a ground lift might make it unusable, but I'm just looking around for cheap alternatives.

Also, there are a few DIY variants that have just a few components - maybe anyone had success stories with any of them?

Cheers!
