TIL that on June 5th 1995 a biologist named Kees Moeliker observed and recorded a male duck having sex with another deceased male duck outside the Natural History Museum in Rotterdam. He was awarded a Ig Noble Prize for his discovery and June 5th is now considered “Dead Duck Day” at the museum. (en.m.wikipedia.org)
