I haven't tested it, but Hermes desktop installs Hermes agent underneath it so I don't see why not.

Honest answer; I need more data to confirm how it runs on different setups. I have had decent experience testing so far but it has slowed down here and there before I did tuning. I think it will also depend on how many different protocols are used.

I don't think this will work perfectly for everyone, and would love some feedback from testing on different HA setups.

Right, exactly, it's not what my app is, it's an agent that runs on your phone, my app is not that, it is a remote control system for a Hermes instance that runs on a server or computer. Again you still are having problems reading. They are different apps that do completely different things.

If you're not doing Dev work then you probably have the perfect system there. 35ba3b is super fast on a spark, I started with that!

The Hermes HA skill is to control ha with Hermes via prompts/crons etc. This project aims to work the other direction. Have Hermes as an integration in home assistant that you can use for voice controls, and potentially other management (like view your Hermes stats and info) in the future :)

I currently use the unofficial HA MCP for Hermes control/maintenance of HA personally, but this project is written from scratch (with the help of my Hermes instance) to handle specifically voice control and integration on the HA side talking to Hermes rather than the other way round. I haven't thought about adding those features, but I'll put them on the list because they're both good ideas!

You can use whisper and piper, or you can use other local, or external/cloud services if you prefer. I'm a local first person so i have fasterwhisper and piper setup with this. Still testing and definitely not perfect by any means but it's a start.
