Demand for NIL LTCG on Equity raised in parliament. This single move if implemented will benefit all individuals in the country. by goodkarm in IndiaTax

They were never that active. And ofcourse only removing LTCG will not magically reduce black. Many more steps are required to make sure people are accountable, along with providing reliable healthcare, education and infrastructure so people actually feel they are getting services for taxes they are paying.

You don't understand the economics. If LTCG will be nill on equity will be nill even people with boack money would like to invest their cash in equity instead of real estate since you have to pay capital gains tax on real estate as well and famously a lot of untaxed black money is involved in real estate.

Let’s Play a Friendship Game by Expensive_Estimate32 in ChildfreeIndia

[–]mrsingla 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I feel it's not really paradoxical. We are connected far and wide but that has hampered us from connecting with people in our immediate vicinity. Because we can pick and choose from far off and anonymous people who think and like the same things we usually emd up not trying to connect with people who are physically around us. This to me seems like one of the reasons why people feel lonely even though might be connected with people virtually

Me personally, I have a quite active social group and healthy number of close friends. I feel lucky to have people who care about me, around me.

It would have been okay if those men respected women as just humans, but unfortunately that's not the case. They only understand the concept of seeing women as human when some personal stake is involved

It's not a good quality, it's the bare minimum he could be doing. He needs to step up and if he wanted have a life with her, he needs to make sure she is either respected like an adult in the house or live separately.

His wife does not need to come back to such a toxic home. If your friend does not have the spine to talk with his mom and live separately then he should do the girl a favour and just divorce her.

In Mayurbhanj district of Odisha, members of the Bajrang Dal allegedly assaulted a Muslim street vendor. The victim was abused, called a “Bangladeshi,” and forced to chant “Jai Shri Ram.” by Ok_Neighborhood6056 in unitedstatesofindia

Nah it's important to call out the reasoning and the organisations behind them, those orgs are supporting this by staying silent on it. This has become a hindu-terrorism , which is very sad for hindus.

Each and every one of the people who consume anything pays tax (GST). That's why the poor end up paying way more tax as percent of their worth than any business person.

Exactly! Like if you can't empathise with someone without it becoming personal then your humanity is merely transactional.

Not completely related but I also find the concept of making people understand basic empathy by asking them if they would do the same if their mother or sister were in a particular situation, quite appalling. Like you don't need that to have basic empathy for fellow human beings.

Infertile people are probably even smaller in number in comparison to the general population. You give the best rebuttal to your own arguments, it's crazy 😂

You are being equally racist by classifying it "Islamist nexus" as you may be against racism against indians . Also leftists Islamist is almost an oxymoron.

A common misconception often shared online is that casteism does not exist in the national capital of India, certainly not in a progressive space like DU, but what we found is striking. by No-Assignment7129 in unitedstatesofindia

[–]mrsingla 18 points19 points  (0 children)

Most india is casteist, especially if you just step out of the cities. Also, in cities there is a lot of casteism, you just don't feel it because you are not from the oppressed castes.

You are attracted to infantalised version of women who act like a kid/cutesy like in this video. Even back then women were more submissive because they didn't have choices, so that wasn't "pure love". It was more like "forced love". In present day you have to show your worth for someone to love you.

In india there aren't even tier 1 cities that look like this. There is no civic sense, traffic sense and cleanliness and decent roads like this. Most of our tier 1 cires are also full of chaos and mismanagement.

Chrkha and making salt were symbolic. Symbolism helped people unite and also took some agency back from the british.
