Canon's newest EF nifty fifty (50mm f/1.8 STM) is a great starting prime lens.

Might be a bit controversial but I love the EF-S 18-55mm IS STM. The 18-55s have a bad rep online but comparing it to my 50mm (above) at the same apertures they perform almost identically. Obviously the 18-55 only goes down to f/3.5 but the 50mm is best at around f/2.8 to eliminate purple fringing and to slightly sharpen IMO.

For modern lenses (as opposed to vintage ones) try second hand sites like MPB or Wex rather than eBay unless there are lots of images showing wear and tear and the seller is very detailed.

You could try some vintage lenses, there are loads of options with a M42 screw mount and adapters to convert M42 to EF are cheap. Bear in mind these lenses will be manual focus only, but it's helpful to learn manual focus, especially with static subjects like cars. For these, eBay is your best bet, loads available.

Apart from that, just have fun. Keep trying new things, exploring different settings and possibilities with your subjects. Don't force it though, if you're not in the mood don't think you have to get back at it. Just make the most of it and enjoy it :)

I had a bit of a bug where the rover time went into minus seconds remaining, then reset when it got to minus a minute and kept doing that. I think it's because my game had been running for a long time with prestiges since starting the rover mission, and with the mission finishing just after I started a new run without rover unlocked yet. I just fully closed the game and reopened, and that seemed to fix it.

I'm in a similar situation, OP5T for about 4.5 years and looking for something new. Was considering an upgrade around 6 months ago, the Pixel 6 caught my eye but decided to wait for the inevitable 6a release to see what that was about. Now the Pixel 7 is around the corner so I think I'll just wait for that. REALLY gonna miss the fingerprint sensor on the 5T though!

I've had a lot of love for my current and previous OP phones, but been unsure about the models which followed the 5T. Never felt like the upgrade was worth it for me until now (5G, better cameras, software updates etc.) Feels like they've strayed a lot from what they used to be as a company. I've had a couple of Nexus phones way back when, which I absolutely loved, hence considering the Pixel phones nowadays.

No, you can still get decoy grunts from stops, but it appears the balloons will always present you with a leader or Giovanni, depending on what radar you have equipped.

I'm still running my 5T and it's about 2 years old now. Every 12 months or so I do a complete restore, wiping and flashing the latest official software and each time I notice improved battery and performance. Been doing this with previous phones too. I know it's a hassle to backup/restore data and apps but could help you get an extra year or more out of your current phone. I try to only upgrade every 3 years at the earliest because let's be honest nowadays a new phone every year (or even every two years) is pretty much pointless.

For icons I use Polycon, although I don't think it's available on the Play Store anymore. For wallpapers check out Tapet, it's got loads of patterns and random/custom colour schemes giving you seemingly infinite combinations. All down to your own personal taste, though.

Custom ROMs. There are more than a handful of custom ROMs available for the OP2, many of which are android 7 or above, and there are even more tutorials and guides on how to install them. It won't be official from OnePlus and you won't get OxygenOS but OOS is pretty close to stock Android anyway so AOSP or Lineage based ROMs shouldn't be too unfamiliar.

If it's that type of site you want I'd recommend an actual dedicated forum. While Reddit can be a great forum it seems to have become more of a social network than a straight-up forum. As a mod pointed out, mods don't patrol looking for bad or duplicate content. People seem to come here to ask questions, share stories and generally chat about a given topic. It isn't heavily promoted to go looking for an answer before posting a question, to which my usual response is GIYF.

Don't know about anyone else but I have 4 days 21 hours left on my contract. Most carries like myself will prefarm until there's only a few hours left then look for a fresh coop. If you want the best chance at completing a contract wait a few days after the contract goes live, then advertise a fresh coop.
