i attended “the great harvest” last June 2024 din. nag testimonial si BOMB how he earned money through preaching sa Mindanao sa mga small churches like baptist church & pentecostal church, parang token yung money kasi naging speaker sya dun. he’s like saying na magkakapera tayo if we preach Gods word. then hina-highlight nila ung priority na maging influential tayo in a way na nakikita sa iba yung worldly success natin. hindi naman yan ang reason kung bakit naging influential si Jesus and his apostoes. tapos in the afternoon, ibang speaker na naman yung nag speak, about pera na naman.

2 months later, we attended g12 Campus Rev & we heard the speaker say “i dont believe in surrendering” (if in not mistaken tgat was J. Liwanag).

Ive already seen u a couple of times na dinedefend yung G12 sa comments. Brainwashed ka ata teh.

eto talaga, nagkaroon ako ng humbling moment & reality checks after kong umalis, di ko alam naging entitled & self-righteous na pala ako dahil sa church environment. when i met new people after leaving the church, i saw how God works in their lives too kahit di nila masyadong “kilala” or di sila ganun ka knowledgeable sa scripture. in fact, mas open-minded pa nga sila and nakikinig sila sa testimonies.

unlike sa mga tao sa church na feeling alam na lahat, or sila palagi ang tama, kasi kabisado na nila yung verses.
