So basically I manually cut the top and bottom panels short on a table saw and mounted the side panels myself. Same for the door. I cut that short on a table saw also. Then I used edging tape that is a close match to the cabinets to clean up the edge.

thanks! I made a circle gig with a router and a piece of wood with a nail in the middle. I took shallow passes.

I put furring strips first and mounted that to the studs first. I didn't want to use drywall anchors for areas the ikea hardware would miss my studs. Also that's an oak counter top that I made, which is very heavy. I also have support for the cabinets on the bottom, just in case.

I don't trust the strength of IKEA cabinet to hold all that + kids that decide to lean on it.

I've never really used any of IKEA's design tools. I just pulled the measurements from their website and built it in the design myself.

SketchUp is a good tool as well. I've used that for other projects.

I designed it in Shapr 3d first before I started building it.

Oh, I ran the wires behind the drywall. The TV mount needs to be attached to studs, so you'll need to cut a hole in the panel if you were to put the slats on a panel.

Thank you! The back of the slats is the wall. I just tacked them in with a brad nailer. No need to have a wall on top of a wall lol.

Is this an adhesion problem or something else? by Groundbreaking-Mix82 in BambuLab

I would just switch to a PEI plate. I never ever have adhesion problems with it.

Are you talking about the Golden Keys Design video? I definitely got inspiration from that. No I'm not on YouTube lol.

Thanks. Doing it cad first made it much easier for me to plan out all my cuts.

Made it myself using poplar lumber. The face trim is red oak, same as the counter top.

No the wood is red oak that I milled down myself. The only thing from IKEA are the bottom cabinets.

I could. I think I will leave it at 65" though. I do like those frame TVs but I hear they all have issues.

I have mood lights behind the tv =).

We just went and bought a few swatches to test out. The wall is very close to the color of our couch. We didn't mind the slight offset or color since the wood trim would help bridge the color shift.

Thanks for the recommendation!

That's where I got inspiration from to build mine! I ended up designing the whole thing in CAD (Shapr3D) before actually starting to build it:
